QNET, a lifestyle,  wellness-focused direct-selling company made a generous donation to the El-Shorbagy Dialysis Centre in Kom Hamada, Cairo. Through its flagship brand HomePure, QNET donated over EGP150,000 worth of its advanced 9-Stage HomePure Nova Water Filtration System.

HomePure, the home care brand from QNET, includes several products that address ’the water and air quality challenges faced by urban households. The HomePure Nova system,

developed after a decade of research by scientists in South Korea, effectively filters tap water by removing 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, chemicals,

and toxins. It also enriches water with minerals, creating Pi-Water, similar to water found in living organisms. Notably, the HomePure Nova holds a prestigious Gold Seal certification from the Water Quality Association (WQA), a globally recognized

certification program for drinking water treatment. Furthermore, the system operates without electricity, making it an eco-friendly solution for providing clean and safe drinking water to the dialysis centre.

QNET partnered with the Misr El-Kheir Foundation to facilitate this donation to the El-Shorbagy Dialysis Centre, which will benefit around 60 patients with kidney-related disorders.

“Water quality plays an important role in the delivery of safe and effective treatment for dialysis patients – but with a growing population of well over 104 million people, Egypt’s desert climate,

and lesser rainfall due to climate change, essential healthcare facilities are facing increased burden to source for clean,

safe water to use for patient treatment,” says Hussam Eldin Kamel, Deputy Regional General Manager for QNET Middle East and North Africa.

“We hope our donation of the HomePure Nova water filters to the El-Shorbagy Dialysis Centre will ensure that the water supply is safe and free from harmful contaminants, which will result in better health outcomes for patients.”

Afaf El-Gohary, Health Sector Director from Misr El-Kheir Foundation, stated that water pollution is

one of the most critical concerns for kidney disease patients. “Water purifiers are an essential tool for healthcare facilities as they help to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases, which is

especially important for dialysis patients as they require a consistent supply of clean water to facilitate treatment,” says El-Gohary.

QNET and Misr El-Kheir Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on social development in Egypt, have partnered together on previous occasions. Most recently,QNET joined hands with

the Foundation to provide food to more than 1000 people in the Al-Basateen neighborhood in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the foundation’s Iftar initiative during Ramadan. HomePure is also a regular

participant at the annual Cairo Water Week (CWW)

a prominent international forum in Egypt that addresses the pressing water challenges facing Egypt, the Arab region, and the world at large.

At the last CWW, HomePure showcased its complete water line, including a pre-filter to remove micro-sediments from tap water and a softener that treats the hard water from the water supply.

Hussam emphasized that QNET will continue to support local communities and social impact organisations in the country through its products and services.

QNET has previously donated multiple HomePure units to prominent Hospitals like Hospital 57357, Atfal Misr Hospital, and various orphanages.
